Dr Ranga Ganesaratnam
Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr. Ranga has extensive experience is working in multiple specialties before he chose to specialize in General practice. After 5 years training in Dublin he joined the GP training scheme in Ballinasloe.
He has obtained his membership in general medicine with the Royal Collage of Physicians Ireland (MRCPI) and The Irish Collage of General practitioner’s. (MICGP)
Dr. Ranga has extensive experience in the locality having worked in Portiuncula hospital, Roscommon university hospital, and GP practices in Roscommon and Kinvara.
His special interest includes pediatrics, General medicine and Medicine for the elderly.
Dr Ranga Ganesaratnam
Originally from Sri Lanka Dr.Ranga completed his undergraduate degree in medicine from Latvia. He completed his internship in Sri Lanka and moved to Ireland in 2012. He worked in Surgery, Urology, and emergency medical departments in St, Vincent’s/St.Colmcilles University hospitals in Dublin He went on to train under the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in General medicine. Having completed his membership examination and basic specialist training with the Royal College. He worked as a medical registrar in Dublin before joining the GP training scheme in Ballinasloe.

Cristiana, originally from Portugal, completed her Nursing Degree in 2018 at Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro University, in the north of Portugal. She moved to Ireland in 2019 and initially worked as a registered nurse in a nursing home. In April 2021, Cristiana joined our team as a Practice Nurse. Her dedication to patient care have made her an invaluable member of our team. Cristiana’s international experience and compassionate approach enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients.
Maria has been a dedicated member of our team since 1998, bringing over two decades of experience in healthcare administration. Has since been an integral part of our clinic in Eyrecourt. Maria is known for her exceptional organizational skills and her ability to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the practice. Her long-standing commitment and deep understanding of our clinic’s operations make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Tina, a local resident of Eyrecourt, has been with our surgery since 1990 and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. Tina’s intimate knowledge of the community and her patients, combined with her extensive experience, makes her an essential part of our clinic. Her ability to adapt to changes and her unwavering dedication to patient care have made her a cornerstone of our practice for the past few years.
